RYAN SHORE: PRESIDENT
Ryan Shore has been an Oregon Rush Board member since 2008. Ryan has been involved in the game of soccer since childhood, playing and coaching at many competitive levels. As a player, Ryan competed in club, high school and college soccer. In high school, he even had the opportunity to play for the legendary coach “Clive Charles.” Ryan believes the real love for soccer is found in the ability to pass on joy of the game to others. He states, “This is why we need great coaches and administrators.” Ryan has been married for 20 years to his wife Lauren and together they have two children, Colin and Madison. He recently retired from the City of Bend Police Department and now gets to spend time traveling the northwest for soccer events, attending OSU games and boating on the Central Oregon lakes.
RON FRITZ: VICE PRESIDENT
Ron has served on the Oregon Rush Board since 2008. He is Co-Founder and CEO of Tech Soft 3D www.techsoft3d.com - a 40 person software firm with offices in Bend, OR, Berkeley, CA and Manchester, UK. Ron has been involved with all facets of the company during Tech Soft's 12 years of consistent, profitable growth. In addition to CEO duties, Ron has direct oversight for Sales, Marketing, HR and Finance. He has three children in Rush, Jacob, CJ, and Gillian.
ERIK TOBIASON: TREASURER
Eric was elected to the Rush BOD in April 2010. He is the father of 6, with four sports age kids, 3 in OR Rush and 2 of them in Future Stars. He is also in his 2nd season as a Rush coach. He is currently a Financial Advisor for Morgan Stanley Smith Barney and serves as the Vice President for Bend Heroes Foundation non profit, treasurer for Bend Heroes Memorial project, and treasurer for the San Jose Jr Girls Sharks Hockey Club (current but hoping a new one will step up!) He is also a member of the Greater Bend Rotary Club and GBRC Foundation Committee. Prior to moving to Bend, Eric worked in the Silicon Valley as President of two high tech companies and as CFO of a real estate development company.
TODD ASEVEDO: MEMBER AT LARGE
Todd has been on the Rush board since April 2010. With 20 years of experience in Human Capital Management and the Talent Management world Todd founded www.hrtechpartners.com 9 years ago. He has served terms on several boards both for profit and non-profit organizations. Todd spends most of his professional time working with companies like Costco and Wal-Mart to develop their senior executives to assume the next role within the organization. His passion for leadership and managing talent competencies brings him to the Rush Board. He played soccer growing up in Southern California and now coaches one of his two sons (the other is on the U99 Nike team) with Rush. With three kids (Kelsey, Max, and Chico) and his wife Joanne and his English Bulldog Maggie there isn't much time for anything else but you can occasionally find him on a Wakeboard in summer or Snowshoes in the winter.
MIKE MALMQUIST: MEMBER AT LARGE
Mike is a VP at US Bank, and is serving his fourth term on our Board. With 25+ years of commercial banking experience, Mike brings strong financial management skills to his position on the Club's budget committee and is focused on helping ensure the Club is fundamentally sound from a financial standpoint, enabling it to thrive and meet the needs of as many Central Oregon soccer-playing youth and their families as possible. He and his wife Vicky have one daughter, Emma, in Rush. Mike is on the Board of Directors of Economic Development for Central Oregon (EDCO), he is on the U.S. Bancorp Foundation Regional Charitable Grant Committee, and has been involved in youth sports coaching through the years, including soccer, baseball and softball. Mike also serves on the Board of the Central Oregon Sports Park.
SCOTT BUNDY: MEMBER AT LARGE
Scott has been in the Bend community since 2000. Scott grew up in Virginia, graduating as a Finance major in 1993 from Radford University. He has run a number of companies from the start up phase, including Earth Wireless. The company grew from one location to ten locations in four states. Managing a large group of employees and growing revenues in a small business setting, Scott feels he can be an asset to the Rush Board. Scott now works as a financial advisor at Merrill Lynch. Soccer has always been a big part of his life from a young age to most recently coaching Rush developmental teams for both
his sons, Scott Jr and Luke. In his spare time he enjoys all that Central Oregon has to offer including golf, soccer, and skiing.
BRANDIE FOSTER: MEMBER AT LARGE
Brandie joins the Board after recently serving as the President of Redmond Youth Soccer Association. She is energetic and passionate about the sport and youth development and brings vast experience in club soccer to Rush. She is a RN at Cascade Surgicenter, LLC.
