OREGON RUSH CELEBRATES NATIONAL SIGNING DAY 2010

National Signing Day 2010 marked a significant milestone for Oregon Rush Soccer Club, as 13 players committed to playing college soccer (with a few more commitments just around the corner).  The Class of 2010 is the first senior class for ORSC to go through 3 years of our CAP program, which combined with their continued high level of play in OYSA and around the region, attracted tons of coaches to Central Oregon.  The success of the 91 Boys Nike and 91 Girls Nike over the past 8 years has been huge, including 2 state cup championshsips, 3 appearences at Far West Regionals, and numerous tournament and showcase victories. Their achievements have set the stage for aspiring young players in our area to beleive in ORSC, and believe in their abiltity to play at the next level.  Congratualtions to the following members of the Class of 2010, and thei school of choice  Go Rush!

About the Program
The Rush Soccer Club continues to push itself and its players to reach the highest level of our sport. Whether that is through the professional ranks or the college levels, the Rush is proud to support all of its players through every endeavor.

This collegiate support begins with the U15 age groups and goes through the college years and on to adulthood for any player that chooses to take advantage of it. With the college contacts, relationships, and friendships that the Rush Soccer Club  and the Oregon Rush Coaching Staff has established throughout the years we are able to help with the initial search, selection and attendance of thousands of NCAA, NJCAA, and NAIA universities, colleges, and junior colleges.

This process begins with the College Advisory Program (C.A.P.) and the college counseling that takes place several times a year throughout the player's high school careers. Our support and assistance continues through the player's collegiate career. The Club provides an outlet to players looking to transfer for just about any given situation. As these same players reach adulthood and look at the next steps after college, the Club is there as well. Players seeking employment in and around the soccer related communities often call on the Rush Staff for assistance and consideration.

C.A.P.

The program is set up to serve the college bound player in a number of different areas.  Starting with the freshman year of high school and continuing through their senior year, this program provides information in such areas as:

> College Preparation
> Admissions Counseling
> College Athletics
> Recruiting
> College Contact Preparation
> ACT/SAT Guide
> College Research Assistance

The C.A.P. is designed to serve the high school age student and provide them with an avenue to ask questions, perform research, and provide feedback for both the academic and athletic aspects of their collegiate career.  The Oregon Rush accomplishes this by meeting with each team during their seasonal year to provide:

> information on both academic and athletic endeavors;
> review any information that the players may have prepared themselves;
> discuss any questions that they players may have;
> discuss any questions that the parents may have.

The Oregon Rush, in conjunction with Rush Soccer and Bonzi Development, has also created a unique, online Advisory Program not available to anyone outside of the Rush organization.  This program will help Rush players to create resumes, contact schools, and stay on top of their college selection process.  It will also allow the Oregon Rush College Recruiting Coordinator to track contacts and be sure that players are doing their part in the process.  Click on the link above to get started today!
